I've been an art and hobby photographer since 2011 and professional since 2016.  I can be an associate or second shooter at intimate weddings when I can handle everything by myself, but I am more than comfortable helping you handle a large crowd in a big ballroom venue.  I am super organized, but that doesn't mean I can't just relax and go with the flow, too. My philosophy is to be prepared for everything and down for anything (because no wedding day ever goes according to plan).

I have experience in natural and off-camera lighting, and posing for both candid and traditional portraiture.

Non-Compete Clauses

As an associate photographer/second shooter, I am there representing the main photographer and his/her brand. I will not pass out my own business cards, talk about my own business, or promote myself in any way. It’s a true fact that whenever I shoot for anyone else, I don’t even introduce myself with my last name. I’m just Alicja…the second-shooter for the day! If someone starts asking questions about whether or not I have my own business, or if we always shoot together, I just let them know that yes, I do work for myself, but that on this particular day, I am working for you. I just basically try to downplay myself as much as possible.

Stay Out of Your Shots

I try to be aware of where you are shooting so that I don’t get into your shot.

Be Helpful

I will try to go out of my way to help you out with the little things, helping you with your gear or lights. I try to be your second pair of eyes, whatever bride’s dress needs a good fluff or best man’s boutonniere is on the wrong side of his suit.

Posting Photos

I don't post my images on social media until I’ve checked with the main photographer to make sure it’s okay.

Credit Main Photographer

I always make it clear that I photographed the wedding as an assistant to the main photographer.

Behind-The-Scenes Photos

I will capture behind the scenes photos of you so You will have photos of you working on wedding days
